Durty Bull Brewing

On Friday September 30th, 5pm to 9pm we will make our first visit to a new Brewery in the Bull City called Durty Bull Brewing. We are excited for a new venue for us to share our food at and wanted to give people a small introduction to the Durty Bull.

The new space is a 15-barrel production brewery where they age many of their beers in foeders or barrels with an extensive sour beer program.

Brettanomyces IPA – At 8.5% ABV, this double IPA is hopped with Columbus, Summit, and Nugget and fermented 100% with Brettanomyces bruxellensis to achieve a dry finish.

Baltic Porter – This 9% beer is wood aged with a vanilla and chocolatey aroma, lagered for an extra smooth roasted flavor meant for a Czar.

Sour Blends – Starting with a 7% ABV American Red Sour and a 5% ABV American White Sour, several beers will be created by aging these beers for 3 months up to 2 years in a variety of wine and spirit barrels with different fruits, yeasts, and bacteria.

Lager – Moderate hop bitterness balanced by the medium malt body from the addition of Munich and Vienna malts. At 5.6% ABV, it’s the perfect refreshment on a hot summer day.

Your Turn Series – Rotating beer series allowing each owner to express their creativity in new and experimental beers.

Dry-Hopped Brett Table Beer – This beer is a blend of three different strains of yeast creating a distinct citrus flavor and a dry effervescent mouthfeel. Aromas of grass and lemon with the classic mustiness of Brettanomyces dominate the nose.

Rhubarb Berliner Weisse – Mildly sour and fruity aroma with a clean lactic tartness from both the kettle souring and addition of rhubarb. Very light body with a refreshing sour tartness with a subtle wheat malt finish.

Barrel Series – Our flagship beers and pilot batches will be aged in bourbon and wine barrels on an annual basis to create a unique tasting experience for the drinker.

Great local brewery, with friendly staff and great drafts.

YO!!! Your lager is absolutely killer, and this Blonde Sour is to die for. I’m absolutely speechless.

Cool new nanobrewery with a focus on barrel-aged ales. Their line will only keep getting better as more aged ales get tapped.
