Fest in the West in its 3rd Year
CaryCitizen is partnering with the Town of Cary to bring a full day of fun to Western Cary on May 5 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex (7445 Green Hope School Road), from 11am-5:00pm.
One part Lazy Daze, one part Food Truck Rodeo, and another part Beer Garden, there is something for everyone. You’ll find 35 art vendors, 4 breweries, 12 food trucks with an ample shaded seating, and a cool Kids’ Area.
Food Truck Line-up:
Boricua Soul– Puerto Rican soul food ( You can find us at F7)
Cousins Maine Lobster– LOBSTER!
Del’s Lemonade North Carolina– Frozen lemonade to whet your whistle.
Fresh! Local Ice Cream– Ice cream- what else?
Hibachi Xpress– Asian stir fry with their special Yum Yum sauce
Oak City Fish & Chips– Seafood, and of course fish & chips!
Pita Delite– gyros, kababs, everything served in a pita.
Las Gringas– Tacos, authentic Mexican food.
Not Just Icing– Homemade cupcakes
Stuft– Stuffed baked potatoes
Qspresso– Cuban fusion
Will & Pops– Burgers and grilled cheese

Fortnight Brewing– Cary’s first brewery, serving English- style ales, porters and IPAs.
Jordan Lake Brewing Co– Brewery and tap room located in Downtown Cary
Southern Peak Brewery- Re-introducing the neighborhood brewery in downtown Apex.
KIDS ZONE
Your kids will have a blast in the KidZone. They can climb the “Ultimate Challenge” obstacle course bouncer, get their faces painted, make some themed crafts, try out robotics and meet llamas in our Petting Zoo! Families can take fun photos at our Photo Booth and then post to social media using tag #FestintheWest! We’ll post these during and after the event and maybe someone will win some swag!
